L-함수 연구실(Basic Research Lab for L-functions) 개소식​

포항수학연구소(PMI)에서 유치한 L-함수연구실 개소식이 박종국 수학과 주임교수, 최영주 포항수학연구소(PMI) 소장 및 사업참여 교수와 구성원들이 참석한 가운데 개최하였다.

과학기술정보통신부에서는 특정 연구주제를 중심으로 융복합 연구의 활성화에 기틀이 되는 소규모 연구그룹을 육성하기 위해 기초연구실(BRL) 지원 사업을 추진하고 있으며, 2018년도에는 총349개의 과제가 신청하여 심사를 거쳐 최종 30개의 과제가 선정되었습니다.(선정률 8.6%)

11.6대 1의 경쟁을 뚫고 선정된 L-함수연구실 과제(연구책임자 최영주 교수)의 사업기간은 2018년 6월 1일부터 2021년 2월 28일까지 이며, 최윤성 교수, 박지훈N 교수, 조성문 교수가  공동연구원으로 참여하고 있습니다.

The opening ceremony of the Basic Research Lab for L-functions

The opening ceremony of the L-Function Research Center, which was hosted by Pohang Mathematics Research Institute (PMI), was attended by Park Jong-kook, a professor of mathematics, and Choi Young-ju, head of Pohang Mathematics Institute.

The Ministry of Science and Technology and Information and Communication is promoting BRL (Basic Research Center) support project to foster small research groups based on specific research subjects.

Professor YoungJu Choie, who was selected through the competition of 11.6 to 1, participated in the project from June 1, 2018 to February 28, 2021. Prof. Yunsung Choi, Jeehoon Park, and SungmunCho are participating as co-researchists.
